But because every bag tells of a journey compose of stories.. a story of hope, a story of second chances, a story of family and reconciliation, a story of self-worth. “When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.””
‭‭John‬ ‭8:7-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

About DOXAbyJ3 Bags

Every bag from DOXA by J3 is handcrafted / handwoven by a “Bakasyonista”, as we call a woman behind bars of Gawad Kalinga- Ray of Hope Village, Davao City Female Jail. Every weave signifies acceptance, forgiveness, talent, passion and a new beginning. Every bag represents a radical faith of a great life not only after but while behind bars. That even behind bars, she’s given the opportunity to still be a mother, to take care and provide for her children. That even behind bars, she can create, design, grow and use her talents. That even after the bars, her hands have the ability to make a living and build a future.

Every bag speaks on her behalf. Each telling the world outside that she is not done yet but has just started with the life that God has long been giving her, a life as beautiful and as unique as the bag she created.
